Shield’s latest platform release helps compliance teams keep pace with growing review demands

Shield, a leading communications compliance platform in the digital communications governance and archiving (DCGA) space, has released the latest version of its platform, introducing targeted enhancements that accelerate review workflows by up to 50%, reduce operational friction, and help compliance teams scale oversight more efficiently.

As communication volumes continue to grow and compliance teams face increasing pressure to do more with existing resources, this release focuses on simplifying alert management, streamlining investigations, and improving reviewer productivity through smarter workflows and agentic AI. The result is faster decision-making, greater operational efficiency, and increased confidence in every review.

Here are some of the highlights.

Faster, More Efficient Alert Reviews

This release brings major enhancements that streamline the alert review experience from triage through investigation. A new single-view alert experience brings communications, attachments, images, translations, surveillance triggers, and risk analysis together in one place, giving reviewers immediate access to the context they need.

At the same time, a redesigned alert queue surfaces key information directly within the review list, enabling faster prioritization and decision-making. New visibility controls also allow reviewers to tailor the level of risk detail displayed, helping teams focus on the information most relevant to each investigation.

From Assignment to Resolution, Streamlined

Cross-team alert distribution simplifies workload allocation across reviewer groups, supporting more consistent coverage while reducing manual coordination.

Shield also releases the Alert Closure Agent, part of AmplifAI’s agentic suite. The agent evaluates communications based on content, context, and risk indicators, automatically resolving alerts where no risk is identified. Compliance teams retain full oversight through transparent reasoning, configurable governance controls, and the ability to review any closure decision at any time.

Stronger Context and Audit Readiness

Expanded Microsoft Teams coverage now captures original, edited, and deleted messages, including timestamps and change history. By preserving the full communication lifecycle and clearly presenting modifications within conversation threads, compliance teams can maintain stronger audit trails, improve investigative accuracy, and ensure critical context is never lost.

Designed to reduce review complexity while strengthening oversight, Shield’s latest release helps compliance teams operate more efficiently, make faster decisions, and scale with confidence.
