The Industry Is Calling It: Shield Is Defining AI for Digital Communications Risk

NEW YORK – August 2026 – Shield, a leading Communications Risk Management Platform, has received a series of industry recognitions for its AI capabilities, spanning awards nominations, independent analyst research, and global fintech rankings.

These recognitions highlight Shield’s advanced multi-layered AI approach to contextual risk detection, combining explainability and transparency across surveillance, investigations, and governed action. They also recognize Shield’s dedicated agentic suite, AmplifAI, which helps compliance teams expand coverage, surface nuanced risk, and act with confidence.

Taken together, these external validations point in the same direction: Shield is among the companies defining what AI in digital communications compliance will look like next.

Six Nominations at the AI in Capital Markets Awards, Including Best Agentic AI Platform

Shield has been shortlisted in six categories for the 2nd Annual AI in Capital Markets Awards, run by A-Team Insight, including Best Agentic AI Platform for Capital Markets, Best AI Solution for Conduct Risk Management, and Most Innovative AI in Regulatory Compliance Initiative. The breadth of nominations reflects Shield’s investment across the full compliance stack: risk management, financial crime, model orchestration, and regulatory compliance.

Voting is open through August 21, 2026.

Named to the AI FinTech100 2026

Shield has been named to the AI FinTech100, produced by FinTech Global. The list is one of the industry’s most cited benchmarks for identifying the companies advancing AI in financial services. Inclusion in the list requires demonstrated real-world impact, placing Shield among the firms setting the pace globally.

GreySpark Names Shield Among the First Vendors Operating at the Agentic AI Level

In its 2026 report, Focus on AI in Investment Banking: Surveillance, GreySpark Partners identified Shield as one of the first vendors bringing agentic AI to communications surveillance. The report noted that communications surveillance is a technically distinct and analytically demanding use case, requiring multi-step reasoning to establish context, identify parties, and assess intent across unstructured data. GreySpark placed Shield among the few vendors already operating at that level.

“Every recognition here is independent: analysts, award bodies, global rankings. They each examined what it takes to get agentic AI in digital communications right, and pointed to Shield. That’s the validation that matters. And it makes us even more focused on what we’re building next.”

— Shiran Weitzman, CEO and Co-founder, Shield

These recognitions build on Shield’s established track record of industry leadership, including being named Best eComms Surveillance Solution at the TradingTech Insight Awards USA 2026. Together, they reflect both Shield’s continued investment in practical, governed agentic AI, and its position at the forefront of the next generation of communications compliance.
