Enterprise Sales Development Representative – Financial Services

Shield is a global technology company with offices in Tel Aviv, New York, London and Lisbon. We’re growing and looking for another important piece of the puzzle.

Is it you?

Shield is looking for an ambitious, curious and commercially minded Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team.

This isn’t a high-volume, transactional SDR role. You’ll focus on some of the world’s leading financial institutions, researching complex organizations, identifying the right buying groups and business triggers, and creating meaningful conversations with senior decision-makers.

You’ll work closely with Account Executives and Marketing to build a qualified enterprise pipeline through highly targeted, account-based engagement.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive new business development across North America, targeting strategic, high-value enterprise financial institutions and significant ACV opportunities.
  • Research and map complex organizations, identifying key stakeholders, buying groups, business priorities, pain points and relevant engagement triggers.
  • Build qualified pipeline through highly targeted, account-based prospecting, not high-volume transactional outreach.
  • Use intent data, account intelligence, market developments and buying signals to identify when, why and how to engage priority accounts.
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders across Compliance, Surveillance, Technology, Legal and Operations.
  • Multi-thread across accounts and execute persistent, relevant outreach through phone, email, LinkedIn, events and other channels.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Shield, our market and our customers’ challenges to communicate a credible and compelling value proposition.
  • Secure high-quality discovery meetings and demos with opportunities that have genuine enterprise potential.
  • Partner closely with Account Executives and Marketing on account strategy, messaging, campaigns, events and follow-up.
  • Represent Shield professionally at industry events and use them to build and deepen relationships with target accounts.
  • Maintain excellent CRM discipline and capture account intelligence, activity, contacts and next steps.
  • 1–3 years of SDR/BDR experience in enterprise B2B SaaS, ideally selling into financial institutions or other complex, highly regulated organizations; or relevant client-facing experience within financial services, such as capital markets, investment banking, brokerage, asset management, wealth management or compliance.
  • Native-level English proficiency is a must, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Economics, Business, Law, Finance or a related field.
  • Comfortable engaging large, complex enterprise accounts with multiple stakeholders, significant deal values and longer sales cycles.
  • A consultative and commercially curious mindset—able to understand a prospect’s business rather than simply deliver a sales pitch.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to uncover account priorities, buying signals and meaningful reasons to engage.
  • Highly tech-savvy, with hands-on experience using modern sales and MarTech stacks, including CRM, sales engagement, prospecting, account intelligence and the latest intent-data technologies.
  • Comfortable using data and technology to prioritize accounts, personalize outreach and improve prospecting effectiveness.
  • Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders and the ability to turn complex topics into clear, compelling conversations.
  • Highly organized and disciplined, with the ability to manage multiple strategic accounts, campaigns and follow-ups simultaneously.
  • Strong ownership, urgency and accountability around goals and commitments.
  • Competitive and results-driven, with the ambition to win individually while contributing to the success of the wider team.
  • A genuine desire to learn, develop and build a career in enterprise technology sales.
