As an experienced QA Automation engineer. , you will design, develop, and execute tests for Shield’s App.
We can’t promise it will be easy, but it is exciting and most importantly – FUN.

What you’ll do:
- Design, develop, and execute tests for the application UI & API using Cypress and Rest Assured.
- Execute tests in different scopes: regression, performance, functional, and security; report the progress of testing and provide summary reports of testing activity.
- report bugs found during execution, assist with reproducing and debugging to understand the root cause.
- Maintain and develop CI/CD process by collaborating with DevOps team.
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of experience as a QA automation engineer, with a strong focus on TypeScript development and extensive experience in Cypress.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, with practical experience in Cypress and familiarity with Java or another OOP language.
- Experience in designing, describing, and implementing automated and manual API test cases, leveraging Cypress for UI testing and TypeScript for backend testing.
- Understanding of the CI/CD process and experience in integrating testing frameworks within automated pipelines.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes (K8s) environments.
- Proficiency in testing methodologies, particularly in the context of TypeScript-based applications and Cypress for UI testing.
- Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies, particularly related to Cypress, TypeScript, and Java or other OOP languages.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, within cross-functional teams.
