DevOps Team Lead

This role is tailor-made for those who can blend leadership skills with hands-on technical expertise and a team-oriented approach to elevate our DevOps operations and weave DevOps methodologies throughout our software development lifecycle.

 What you’ll do: 

  • Establish and nurture a culture of excellence within the DevOps team, promoting best practices, effective work processes, and methodologies. Lead by example and mentor the team to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Set clear team goals and priorities in alignment with organizational objectives. Ensure resources are available and allocated efficiently to meet project timelines and deliverables.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and career progression. Encourage continuous learning and adaptability to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Direct the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks. Guarantee the application release process is optimized, scalable, and error-free.
  • Foster strong relationships with software development, QA, and other teams to ensure DevOps practices are integrated throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Lead initiatives to continually advance the team’s tooling, automation, and best practices capabilities. Identify and implement innovative solutions to technical challenges.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for DevOps-related issues, guiding the team through technical challenges and advocating for DevOps principles across the organization.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in DevOps roles, with a proven track record of technical expertise.
  • At least 2 years in a leadership role, demonstrating effective team management, mentorship, and strategic planning.
  • Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization technologies
  • Experience in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Go, or Java.
  • Deep understanding of DevOps and GitOps principles, CI/CD methodologies, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform or Crossplane.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud services, particularly AWS, including best practices in security and compliance.
  • Excellent communication abilities to coordinate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with MLOps is an advantage.
