I'm Daphna, Head of HR at Shield, and I am not looking for a super-ninja talent acquisition manager nor for a mega sourcer. I am looking for a person who has deep understanding of people, feels comfortable with technologies and understands that recruiting is the best way to influence the company's DNA. Someone who combines high analytical skills, a can-do attitude and genuine curiosity for people, organizations, and technology. A person who breaths social media and can take part in building our employer branding. Someone who is fascinated by fast growing environments and wants to roll their sleeves and help us recruit more amazing people.

Your past experience can vary, but we prefer if you've already done one role as a technical recruiter (can also be at an agency). Shield is a FinTech & Surveillance Start-Up solving complex problems for large enterprises, focusing on workplace compliance. We're using a blend of regulatory expertise, technology and artificial intelligence. Our customer base is worldwide banks, investment managers and hedge funds, all highly regulated.

We're an extremely agile company using the latest technologies and gaining a lot of traction and recognition in these markets. It is an exciting time to join with much growth ahead. Recently we have completed a Series A investment round and will be growing rapidly in the near future.

What You’ll Do

  • Balance and prioritize a variety of technical positions at once.
  • Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing.
  • Responsible for the hiring processes, from CV screening to in-depth interviews and coordination of the entire process.
  • Manage job postings on both internal and external channels.
  • Promote our employer branding through social media platforms.
  • Keep candidates up-to-date and informed throughout the hiring process.
  • Conduct reference and background checks for advanced candidates.
  • Be a trusted adviser to the hiring managers. 

Requirements

  • At least 2 years' experience in HR related roles within an organization (or recruitment agency)
  • Relevant social-science degree
  • Social media understanding
  • Technological orientation
  • Able to work in a start-up environment: do what it takes and be agile
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with various interfaces
  • Multi-tasker as an understatement
  • Customers oriented, motivated and results-oriented
  • Proficiency in both Hebrew and English
