As a Product Owner, you’ll take ownership of defining and delivering Shield’s leading surveillance solution features that address customer needs and meet business objectives. Working closely with stakeholders, R&D, and design teams, you’ll break down high-level requirements into actionable plans, ensuring smooth and successful delivery of innovative and impactful product features.

This position is located in Lisbon, Portugal, and you’ll be reporting directly to the Director Product.
The opportunity
- Own the backlog for Shield’s surveillance solutions, ensuring features align with the product vision, customer needs, and business goals.
- Translate high-level business requirements into detailed user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
- Prioritize and plan the delivery of features, balancing customer impact, technical feasibility, and market demand.
- Collaborate with R&D, UX/UI, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of the product roadmap.
- Act as the voice of the customer, consistently advocating for user-centric solutions and ensuring the product delivers value to end users.
- Work closely with QA to ensure features are thoroughly tested and meet quality standards before release.
- Conduct regular sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospective meetings with development teams.
- Stay updated on market trends and customer feedback to continuously evolve the product.
Experience and skills
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an enterprise SaaS or technology company.
- Proven experience working in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, from ideation to delivery.
- Familiarity with surveillance, compliance, or enterprise software solutions (advantage).
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A strong analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Passion for delivering high-quality products that solve real-world problems for customers.
